Biking on Burgos Lane in Hot Springs Village Arkansas

Riding a Trek Rental bike in Hot Springs Village in December in cold weather. Mostly on Burgos Lane, but several other streets were riden also. HSV is a cool place to ride a bike with miles and miles of roads and streets without any homes built on them yet. A bikers paradise! Burgos is pretty steep. Stay off Carmona on a MTB, it's a killer.

Racing to keep up with Mr.D at Bull Bayou in Cedar Glades Park

This is one of my favorite pics that Deb caught when I was racing to catch Mr. D on the trail down to Bull Bayou creek and the ladder bridge. Mr. D can really haul it on his 10" bike.

Mr Ds M and M NASCAR Truck with Shooting Steam

Mr D. thought the "shooting steam" coming out of this truck was cool! We built a ladder so Mr. D. could get in the truck. (DON'T TELL Kyle we changed his NASCAR number to 2, and we put Mr. D's name on Kyle's Truck.)

Springer on Mountain Bike at Cedar Glades Trail

This dog was on a cool bike leash. The biker bought the bike adaptor and dog harness separately on the internet and rigged them himself. I found the bike attachment just as he said at http://www.springerusa.com/ and it is the only safe way to take your dog on a leash on singletrack. It has a safety release based upon rider weight and dog size. See the website.

This biker plans to let his dog run next to him on the singletrack after he gets her trained. He said she had been on this adaptor for about a year and was close to running free. We saw other dogs running loose with bikers at Bull Bayou, but on a busy Saturday it was pretty cool hiSs dog was staying right with him.

T-Bird Driveby for MFB

This one is for you buddy! What do you think?

Lorenzo on a South Texas Rainy Winter Bike Ride

I stopped twice to pour water off the lens. You really can appreciate being alive when you ride in 34 degree weather with it raining on you. I rode my old Diamondback bike so I didn't crash the Trek on the slick roads. It's pretty easy to lose it on a slick place on either bike. This was the first trip I took with the Oregon Scientific helmet cam and it works great in this situation. It's an amazing little cam... thanks Pat and Jim!

(The quality is great. I compressed this long ride from 64-MgB down to 8-MgB to put it on here.)

Triking on Leno Lane - PUSH to Go / PULL to Stop

Biking on Leno Lane

Mr D at Bull Bayou - PartII

More video from my bike shot with the Oregon Scientific bike helmet cam. I condensed an hour of video to this short segment. We rode all over the park on the ADA (training wheel) course.

We need to get some knobby tires or 86 the training wheels so Devin is not digging out all the time and losing traction. He did great considering he was high-center half the time.

Mr D and Aiden

Devin and Aiden driving the Kyle Busch M&M semi-truck with his race car inside. Looks like they are very happy in their jobs!
Watch Out!

Drop It On Me, Drop It On Me, Hey, Hey

Mr. D. and I were learning this in the racecar Saturday night just before the storm. Featuring Daddy Yankee with Ricky Martin singing "Drop it on me".

Cedar Glades - Bull Bayou

We returned to Bull Bayou in the Cedar Glades Park today. The real heros are behind the scene Deb and Sasha. They made it possible for us to go again today and took photos and movies of the over an hour of bike riding and playground exercise.
Standby, more to come...

Cedar Glades Park Singletrack in Hot Springs Arkansas

With the support team we ventured to Cedar Glades Park leaving from the Bull Bayou Creek parking lot. I wanted to just do the green loop and got lost on the blue loop. On the second time around I asked some workers with chainsaws where you get off the trail? They said it was half way up "heart attack hill" which I didn't need any help identifying. The sign was missing but taking a hard right midway up the hill got me back to the right trail. The people working for Garland County I talked to offered to take me back in their pickup truck if I couldn't get off the blue loop which I thought was really nice of them (how may lost people do they rescue in here?).

TRACTORS!

We painted a few tractors between biking rides and plan painting the M&M semi that hauls the NASCAR race car tomorrow for our last lesson this trip. Funny thing is that the truck he likes is Kyle Busch who is the rebel of the NASCAR circuit I find out and tends to act out quite often and win a lot too. Its the M&M car and semi-truck I find out.

"The Whistle Song" or Lo Que Pensamos

Vamos todas juntos a decir lo que pensamos

Vamos juntos!

Mr. D claps and whistles to this song in the car. He calls it the "Whistle Song". This is song #11 of the Ananda album. We are working on song#12 which is mainly "Ungh" "Augh" and some cars beeping. I am not sure what we will call this song?
